The Soccer Hall of Fame announced the 2014 list of inductees, who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on November 9, 2014, of which Hector Vergara will be inducted into the Builder category.

The Manitoba Soccer Association has recently distributed newly proposed By-Laws that address the MSA board structure, governance and membership. We encourage all WYSA members to review the proposed By-Law changes and join us for an information and consultation session on Wednesday, July 30th, 2014, 7-9 PM at the Subway Soccer South Complex. This past weekend, July 5th & 6th, WYSA and its District Clubs hosted the U9-U11 Recreational Outdoor Season Finale Jamboree with great participation and enthusiasm from all the participating teams! Making Head Way in Sport is now available FREE to coaches across the country!
This online concussion eLearning module is a valuable resource for coaches and parents alike, and is available through the NCCP The Locker.
A Making Head Way in Sport marketing toolkit is available on the Partner Resources section on coach.ca. Please feel free to use these tools to share this great news with your coaches and athletes so as many people as possible can take advantage of this important resource.
Please note: The sport-specific versions of Making Head Way will continue to cost the standard $14.95 per use until further notice.
The reason there is a five (5) goal maximum is mainly for fair-play reasons. WYSA doesn’t want to degrade any teams by having the score being run up on them. Youth soccer is about the development and enjoyment of the game, and we feel that is a team is ahead by at least five (5) goals then they should work on aspects other than scoring goals.
2014 OUTDOOR SEASON
At this time, there are no match cancellations. The match official will determined whether the field or conditions are unplayable at the field.
League wide cancellations will be posted here. In the event of an individual game cancellation, email notification will be sent directly to the teams.
