Can you please explain to me why there needs to be a same-gender team official on the bench of my child?
The reason there needs to be a same gender team official on the bench is for safety and security. All teams must have at least one adult of the same gender as the players, as one of the team officials in attendance. This person, must be on the team bench and identified on all game sheets, and must not be a registered player on the team. Teams not having an adult of the same gender, will result in the game being cancelled and points defaulted (grace time will apply as with the players). The same gender team official is not required to have an identification card.
2015 OUTDOOR SEASON
At this time, there are no match cancellations. The match official will determined whether the field or conditions are unplayable at the field.
League wide cancellations will be posted here. In the event of an individual game cancellation, email notification will be sent directly to the teams.
