Frequently Asked Questions

What is Long Term Player Development (LTPD)?

WYSA is introducing changes designed to encourage more playing time for every player, enhance skill development, improve coaching and generally make the game more fun. Noticeable changes to the game that have been made are smaller field sizes, net sizes and roster sizes. With smaller sided games, every player will become more involved in the action and get more touches on the ball. We’re confident this will result in better players and a longer lasting love for the beautiful game.
