For the purpose of participating in WYSA sanctioned competitions, all players are required to follow the registration process as set forth in the Rules and Regulations. No player may be registered for more than one team, youth or senior, at any one time.
*Please be advised that all players that register must pay their MSA player fee to be considered eligible. This process can be done during registration. Click here for more information on the MSA player fee.
**Registration for all WYSA Leagues takes place through our Member Organizations. Please reach out to them directly regarding additional information.**
WYSA Recreational League
Any player participating in the U9-U18 WYSA Recreational League is required to register within their Community Centre boundaries as established by the Greater Council of Winnipeg Community Centres (GCWCC) or Rural Municipality (RM) based on the geographical location of their home. A player must register in accordance with the process as defined by their WYSA Member Organization. WYSA Developmental League
Any player participating in the U9-U12 WYSA Developmental League may register with any WYSA Member Organization that offers this programming.
WYSA Premier League
Any player participating in the U13-U17 WYSA Premier League may register with any WYSA Member Organization that offers this programming.
WYSA Indoor High School League
Any player participating in the WYSA Indoor High School League must register with their own High School.
Additional Registration Notes:
*For a Player I.D. card to be considered valid, it must include all the following:
a) A recognizable photograph; date of birth; clearly written name; and name of Member Organization, on front of card.
b) Validation by a Member Organization registrar name, on front of card.
c) Current season dated WYSA stamp in the appropriate season space, on back of card.
Failure to abide by all conditions stated above will result in the Player I.D. card being deemed invalid. Further disciplinary measures may be taken if warranted by the WYSA Disciplinarian.
