COME WATCH THE WORLD CUP AT THE LYRIC THEATRE!

The Assiniboine Park Conservancy (APC) is inviting the community to come together at Assiniboine Park on Thursday, June 18 for an outdoor watch party of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ match between Canada and Qatar. The event is funded by the Manitoba government and supported by Winnipeg Economic Development & Tourism.

Fans, families, and Winnipeg’s soccer community are encouraged to gather at the Lyric Theatre for an unforgettable evening celebrating the beautiful game in a beautiful place. The match will be shown live on a large outdoor screen, with pre-game festivities beginning at 4:00 p.m. and kickoff at 5:00 p.m. Activities will include live entertainment, family-friendly programming, food and beverage options, and interactive soccer experiences hosted by local soccer organizations.

Admission is free and open to all ages.
