WYSA Scholarship Recipients Announced!
The Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association is proud to announce that Oluwatobi Odusose and Owen Rocke have been selected as the 2023 WYSA Scholarship recipients!
Oluwatobi Odusose recently graduated from Vincent Massey Collegiate, where she has excelled in various areas. Not only did Oluwatobi achieve great success in the classroom, she also helped her SWCC U18G team to a first-place finish at the 2023 WYSA Golden Boy Tournament. Oluwatobi will attend Western University in the fall and study Health Sciences.
Owen Rocke is a recent graduate from Oak Park High School, where he exemplified a great attitude on and off the pitch. He was able to keep his grades at an extremely high standard, while also accomplishing several impressive feats as a soccer player for Winnipeg South End United. Owen also captained the Valour FC Academy team, as well as volunteering as a coach for both programs. Owen will attend the University of British Columbia in the fall, going into the Faculty of Arts and also playing on the men's soccer team.
