2024-25 WYSA Scholarship Application!

The Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association is extremely proud to once again offer the WYSA Scholarship for 2024/25.

The annual scholarship is offered to one player participating on a male and female team respectively, with the recipients receiving $1500 to put towards post-secondary studies. Applicants must be in proceeding from Grade 12 to any post-secondary institution or already in their first year of post-secondary studies and have at least 3 years of involvement within WYSA. The Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) was created in 1982 to coordinate the operation of youth soccer within the City of Winnipeg and its surrounding areas. Through the assistance of its member organizations, WYSA has created and operates league structures for participants aged 9 to 18. WYSA currently operates a U9 - U18 Recreational League, U9 - U12 Developmental League, U13 - U17 Premier League, and an Indoor High School Soccer League. Additionally, WYSA offers other events annually such as the Boston Pizza Player's Tournament, the Prairie Showcase Tournament, and the Golden Boy Indoor Soccer Tournament, along with the Mobile Mini Soccer Program.
